Steelers sign TE/DT Trevor Siemian to 1-year deal
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Trevor Siemien has agreed to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday.
The deal is for $1.5 million per year.
The contract is the second to be announced by the Steelers in the past two days.
The 24-year-old was a second-round pick of the Houston Texans in the 2016 NFL Draft, but the team cut him after he was released by the Texans.
He was traded to the Tennessee Titans in 2018.
The Steelers have four tight ends on their roster this season.
The Steelers have been linked to Siemien in the offseason as they try to address the wide receiver position.
The team had been looking for help at the position as they have struggled to find success in free agency.
They also signed veteran Andre Holmes to a deal.
